Noise Pollution

Have you ever been "treated" to the experience of having your personal space invaded by unwanted sound (a.k.a. noise)?

Do you find this to be either a serious problem or else a potentially-serious problem?

Have you ever wished that you could buy your neighbor's house and move in somebody more considerate?

Do you see second-hand noise to be a problem just like second-hand smoke?

Even though you might subscribe to the philosophy of "Live and let live," do you find that noise pollution has enough health and environmental risks that people should at least be educated on this issue even if they make an informed choice to go on living their lives as they did before (just so long as it's not affecting you)?

Do you think that the police generally don't take people seriously when they call up to complain about somebody disturbing the peace?

If you've answered any of the above questions with a Yes, there's a place at Care2 that will connect you with kindred spirits. It's just in the early stages of construction, and what it needs is more members who are willing to discuss the issues, get others involved in this group, and things that will contribute to getting this issue "out there."

Please join and introduce yourself after you've looked us over by going here...
